Collecting is more than just aquiring figures. Collecting includes many additional support levels--- the most important, in my opinion, is research. For those who prefer to paint their own figures, and possibly modify the pose for a "unique" figure, there are also painting techniques and conversion skills to learn and keep current.

A specific point of interest for SAE Collectors is the Holger Eriksson Collectors Society who are Collectors of Comet/Authenticast, SAE (Swedish African Engineers) and AHI (Japan) --- as well as sculptor HE's creations sold from Sweden.
This fine group publishes an Annual, 50-page-plus Newsletter with color pictures of these subjects, publishing since 1988. Contact:
